Weekly Update: The Gilded Cage Drops Tomorrow, Plus April's Lineup

Published on 27 March 2026 at 16:47

Hello everyone,

Tomorrow changes everything.

The Gilded Cage—Book 2 in The Royal Heart Series—drops tomorrow. If The Lotus and the Crown was about discovering the throne, this is about surviving it. The stakes are higher, the crown heavier, and the gilding is already cracking.

These characters have been with me through draft after draft, revision after revision. Tomorrow you finally join them there.

What's Coming in April

Three releases lined up for next month—each one a different shade of storytelling:

The Silent Burden A men's mental health book. Non-fiction. Necessary. I've been deep in research, wrestling with how we talk about the weight men carry but rarely name. This is my contribution to that conversation. More details soon.

The Fifth Rib The dark psychological thriller I announced last month. It's evolved into something sharper than I expected—less about the crime, more about the fracture in the mind that allows it. April will have a release date.

Plus: Outlining is complete for Book 3 of The Royal Heart Series, and a new Celtic Saga is taking shape—ancient bloodlines, island storms, and the kind of loyalty that outlives kingdoms.

The Notebook

The Gilded Cage was the priority. Now the slate has multiplied. I'm learning to hold multiple worlds at once—the immediate release, the April deadlines, and the ones still whispering from the horizon.

Tomorrow belongs to The Gilded Cage.

But April? April is crowded. In the best way.

The Gilded Cage goes live tomorrow. Follow me on social media for launch day updates.

Which April release are you waiting for? The continuation, the conversation, or the darkness?

See you Soon!

K.M
